Customised Order Report
Description:
The merchant want to create custom report for all the "Fresh" items, override the order data (qty of items) in the report, and send it to warehouse person over email. He also need a feature to make this as a scheduled task, where everyday a report is generated for all the fresh items of all the past orders(last 24 hrs) and send it to the person over email.
Solution/Implementation
- Created a custom app to generate the customised order report in two ways
- create a daily scheduled report -setting for the sending report to the email -setting for allowing merchant to set the days and time for the report to run. -used SendGrid to send the email
- create a report on demand for one order using Admin links and for multiple orders using Bulk action links extensions.
